normally i don’t bother with urban textures, you know: photographing fancy urban patterns for the sake of the patterns. i always think: who’d like to look at these? would i ever put such a photo up on my wall? if the answer is ‘no’, then i don’t bother.

this is an urban texture, an urban pattern. and it caught my eye. and i’m glad it did, i think there’s something interesting going on in this image.
