As you see, he was in the midst of some serious renovations, and the look on his face betrays some distrust. Still, this image is OK, and its counterpart, the photo that actually made it into the series is a personal favorite of mine. (this is a low quality scan.)

the series’ complete title is not without merit either. Where is your messiah now? Or how to express one’s own divinity using archetypical and iconographic religious gestures. the idea is to look into the typical roman catholic hand gestures, and to check whether or not they have any relevancy left.
